menuTarantino Commits to UMASS Boston
We are pleased to announce goaltender Antonio Tarantino has committed to play collegiate hockey at the NCAA DIII level at The University of Massachusetts Boston!
The Fremont, CA native came to Vernal for his last season of junior eligibility and quickly cemented himself as one of the best goaltenders at the USPHL Premier level by recording 20 wins and a .935 save percentage while winning five consecutive USPHL Northwest goaltender of the month awards, a USPHL Northwest All Star Team selection, a All DanK Show team selection, and a USPHL Northwest Division championship.
As an organization, we couldn't be prouder of Antonio for earning the opportunity to continue his athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level. He has left a lasting impression on not only our organization, but the entire Vernal community, and we are excited to follow his journey in Boston and beyond!
