The Vernal Oilers are actively recruiting elite hockey players from throughout the world to further their playing careers in Utah. Hosting a player as their "billet family" is a unique opportunity to become an integral part of an aspiring college or professional hockey players future, while providing your family with relationships that will last a lifetime.
Billet families receive:
- Monthly stipend to help with the player's living expenses
- Season tickets for you and your family
Families are responsible for providing:
- A private or shared room for the player to live in
- Daily meals
- Basic living necessities
- Monitoring of behavior
Players will arrive in early October and depart in March with a three week break in league play during the holiday season. Players will have access to their own vehicles and will not require regular transportation with the families they are living with.
