Andrusenko Turns Pro

Forward Nikita Andrusenko has signed a professional contract with the Federal Prospects Hockey League's Delaware Thunder, becoming the first player in Oilers history to advance from the program!

The native of Nizhnevartovsk, Russia appeared in 11 games with the Oilers, recording 36 points and 47 PIM during that span. As a program, we are extremely proud of Nikita's accomplishment and are excited to see him succeed at the pro level.
Nikita may be the first player advancing from Vernal, but he wont be the last! Many of our 2001 and 2000 birthyear players are currently entertaining opportunities at the collegiate or professional levels, and we expect announcements regarding their futures in the coming weeks.
Congrats Nikita!
